NRD's highly respected N series of Velvet-Vernier Dials are made with a nickel-plated brass dial face securely mounted to NRD's famous Velvet smooth 5:1 reduction mechanism. This planetary mechanism is contained within the body of the dial itself. The engine divided scales are permanently engraved in the dial. A Vernier Cursor allows an accurate reading of 1/10th of one Dial division. The dial may be modified in several ways; the dial scale may be changed and/or the finish of the dial itself may be altered. The dial diagrams shown below indicate standard dial scales available from stock. Special dial scales are available on special order, allow a short lead time when ordering. Be sure to indicate the dial scale number. |
